Our Process
We began by filming the interview portion with Philip and Megan. Camera was on site two hours before the shop opened, and we took our time having a fluid discussion about Portsche’s Jewelry Boutique, their values and their approach to customer care. After the interview, we followed Philip upstairs to his shop and filmed him working on a custom design piece for the better part of an hour.
After cutting together an initial rough cut of the interview, with music and notes as to what additional footage I thought would be best for b-roll, Philip and Megan reviewed the rough cut and provided their own feedback. This input was then incorporated into a second shoot at the shop, focusing on the shot list that we had collaborated on together.
The final product was delivered both as a standalone two-minute video, as well as a few smaller snippets appropriate for a social media campaign. We’re looking forward to working together again soon!
Philip and Megan Portsche were looking for a video production to highlight their custom jewelry design in a way that featured the craftsmanship of the shop and their unique approach to having jewelry designed and repaired on site.
